SENIOR OPERATIONS OFFICER
ALONE support older people to age at home. We provide direct,
frontline services to people aged **Apply on the website** and over,
through support coordination, befriending and support, housing with
support, co-living, and the application of assistive technology. We

website** plus homes for people who are homeless or at risk of
homelessness. We have been awarded Quality Marks from Volunteer
Ireland, the ISO, the Charities Regulator and the Housing Regulatory
Standard.
We are now recruiting for a senior Operations Officer.

ROLE OVERVIEW
Operations at ALONE is responsible for the following areas: Quality,
IT, Training, Risk, day to day operations plus strategic and business
planning. The role of the Senior Operations Officer will be to support
the organisation by developing, enhancing and maintaining the various
documents, plans and processes listed below ? this list is not
exhaustive.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
You will report directly to the Operations Manager at ALONE
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the Senior Operations Officer will be to support the
organisation by developing, enhancing and maintaining the various
documents, plans and processes listed below ? this list is not
exhaustive.
All staff within ALONE are expected to adhere to the legislation,
standards, policies and procedures that apply to ALONE.
Assist and provide support in the following:
* Business plan & action plans ? monitoring and controlling of the
same
* Risk management ? maintaining a risk register, assisting teams
in managing their risks and providing reports for Senior Management
and the Board on the same
* Change management ? project planning and delivery of change
management requests
* Metrics management - assisting teams in managing their metrics and
providing reports for Senior Management and the Board on the same
* Data analysis & report writing
* Facilities management
* External providers ? relationship management
* GDPR - responding to internal and external queries, assisting
other teams managing their GDPR obligations
* Any other duties within the general requirements of the above that
may be assigned
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate:
* prior experience in a similar role, specifically with strong
experience in business planning, risk management, data analysis &
report writing;
* a problem-solving mentality;
* great attention to detail;
* an ability to multi-task;
* strong organisational skills; and
* be comfortable using MS Office, a CRM and other similar
applications.
FURTHER DETAILS

* The position is an initial 2 year fixed term contract
* Place of work: Alone head office in Dublin with some flexibility
to work remotely.

* Travel within the Republic of Ireland will be required.
* The salary offered for this position will depend on skills and
experience
